Responsive Design

How we browse the internet has changed a lot in the last few years. We use desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones to access our favourite websites, or to look someone or something up online. The size of each of these devices various dramatically, so web developers can use something called responsive HTML to create one website that works well on all devices. I use a framework called Bootstrap to make my clients’ sites respond to different device sizes so that the website will be visually appealing, and functional no matter what. The Bootstrap framework utilizes a 12 column grid system that automatically reshapes itself depending on the user’s screen.

Due to the increasing usage of handheld devices, it is not acceptable to have a website that does not work at the tablet and mobile level. If you are thinking of having a custom website created, be sure to get a full responsive package. Without responsive web design you are starting off at a disadvantage, and your competitors will reap the benefits.
